We had a terrible experience at this place despite its 4-star rating. The room was cold, dark, and had an unpleasant smell. The staff, especially the owner/manager, was rude and unhelpful. The heating didn't work, and the blankets were inappropriate for cold October nights (2 degrees Celsius). The owner/manager was unprofessional and confrontational, blaming us for opening a window on a warmer day to minimise the smell and bring warmth into the room. Despite our complaints, the owner did not resolve the issue of broken heating. We were scared of his aggressive behaviour and eventually had to leave two days earlier since the owner/manager kicked us out and threatened to throw our things on the street if we did not go immediately. This was the worst place we've ever stayed, and we wouldn't recommend it. 

In short:
Rude, and impolite manager/owner;
Non-functional heating, freezingly cold rooms;
Poor lighting and dark interior;
Unpleasant smell and mould in the bathroom;
Rooms cleaned if specifically requested; however noone at reception desk;
Strange cooking odour throughout the whole building; even though no meals except breakfast served;
Average breakfast lacking self-service.

Terrible Experience

The room, in my case, was quite large and clean. The bathroom would need a good refurbishment and unfortunately in the room there was a bit of a smell coming from the discharge. Bed not very comfortable. Excellent and abundant breakfast although mostly salty. In total ok for a couple of days even considering the price.

Okay, what's up?

We stayed for one night. Quite and nice neighbourhood. Clean and big rooms. Good bed.
The house is well designed with attention to details.
The host was polite.
Parking on the narrow alley in the back of the house.
Close to city center and ideal for 1-2 days stay.

Quite place near city center

The hotel is quite close to the centre and in a quiet street where there is storage. Rooms are a bit baroque but essential, unfortunately ours - no.3 - had no double but two single rooms. Nice bathroom and breakfast not included (but we decided to do it and a plate of slices and underpants arrived... discrete, professional and kind staff. All in all we recommend it.

Nice, clean and with a nice staff.

Very friendly stuff. Room was normal size, clean and nicely decorated. Our room had no radiator and the heating was  done with the Air Con. Worked very well. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. 
The room wardrobe is designed just for tall persons. The single important negative aspect was the bedding quality. The sheets (even clean) were low quality and in a couple of places broken probably from multiple washings. Not a four stars accommodation in the common sense of this classification.

Close to the town center

The location is near city center, it offers parking place at no extra charge. The rooms are a bit small (double) but nicely decorated. The bed is ok, not soft but not hard either. Bathroom would need some repairs (room 10) . 

Nice but small rooms

Our original hotel canceled for refurbishment and we moved to this hotel it is in and area south of the city centre at the other side of the river. The hotel is well furnished and clean but a bit clinical. Our room was pleasant but no view as on the top floor the facilities and bathroom were fine and the internet ok. Breakfast was served in the basement and was adequate. Very few places to dine round about and it is not an area that I would feel happy walking around at night.
Pet friendly and the staff were very helpful

Pleasant place but a bit far out.

Five minutes from the Orthodox church and the rose park, and not far from the typical Casa Bunicii restaurant (advised by the taxi driver and dalal guide), the boutique pension park is undoubtedly an excellent choice. The quadruple I booked was spacious as well as the bathroom, with living room in the front room. We appreciated the breakfast (especially salty) of excellent quality and housewife. What a good one! Excellent quality price report!

The Right Choice

The hotel has a locked parking space for guests, the rooms are clean and spacious. We had a bed for two children after the five-man room in the basement of the house didn't even promise us. The check-in was a bit cumbersome, overall it was a good stay. Why breakfast was not included when booking at the same price, I don't know in retrospect. The hotel is well maintained and clean, the location is central. You can't really do anything wrong here. I've already slept worse for the money. I've been here the second time.

Good value for money, clean rooms

We stayed from 28 to 01/05 in two couples in this excellent B&B more than a hotel. Located 5 minutes' walk from Piazza Vittoria, in a quiet tree-lined street a few meters from the small park Carmen Sylva. impeccable cleanliness (we took room no.1, the very large suite both room and bathroom), good buffet breakfast (especially salty) at prices of about 30€ per person per night (breakfast included).
