What a fabulous hotel! Our first time in Lisbon so weren’t too sure where to book. Luckily the friends we went with had heard good things about this hotel so we took a chance……..paid off. Rooms are a good size, we were a family of three and had plenty of room. Bathroom was pretty big and both areas (room/bathroom) were spotless. Provided slippers and bathrobes, plenty of towels. Breakfast was good too located on the ground floor with plenty of choice. Hotel is ideally located at the top of the avenue, walking distance to a lot of the sights/attractions in Lisbon ( around 20 minutes). The walk to the centre is downhill but back is uphill, nothing major, but could be tiring after a day sightseeing. Plenty of restaurants around if you don’t want to walk down into the centre. Also has a Spar mini market next door which came in handy for water and other bits and wasn’t a rip off. One tip is to download the Bolt app ( Lisbons version of Uber). First three rides had 40% off so our taxi from the airport to the hotel only cost around 12 euros (£9 roughly) for six of us and four large cases. Came in handy when we didn’t want o walk back the hotel. What made this hotel, was the staff, super helpful and friendly, very knowledgeable of Lisbon and the surrounding area and nothing was too much. If you’re looking for a place that’s that clean, close to the centre but far enough away from the hustle and bustle, I’d highly recommend this hotel. Will be booking again when we return to Lisbon.
