Yep this place is cheap but word of advice just spend the few extra pesos and stay somewhere else.. anywhere else! It has the potential to be cool but it was horrible. Because it's so cheap it attracts not the best people. Very disrespectful people who don't care about keeping anything clean. I've never stayed somewhere this dirty.. there was toilet paper on the ground with faeces on it.. no one did their dishes everything was filthy in the kitchen. You didn't want to touch the cleaning cloths because they were I gross. No cleaning liquid either. The benches were caked with old food and spilt liquids. It's mostly people who live here because it's a cheap so there was no vibe and it was just really odd. The worst part was there was this man staying there who seemed to know the owner and he was yelling for hours and hours talking to people in his head that were not there. He was crazy and it made you feel very uncomfortable as the things he was saying were very disturbing and you couldn't get away from it because he was always around. Also the hostel is not in the city it is very far out and the area can seem like it's not very safe. There isn't anything around to do. Wouldn't stay there again even if it was free 

Don't stay here. Not even for the price 

Sometimes, God likes to play jokes on good people.  This is one of his jokes.  Piss poor excuse for a hostel and only uses that category of accommodation as a guise for what it is - a dirty building rented out as a "hostel" for those without respect to party until 5am (bring those silicon airplugs).  Yes, that was the time that the loud party downstairs finished.  I feel really sorry for the neighbors.  If you don't have tatoos, piercings, a half shaved head, you will be approached by the owner and nicely lectured to about what you can expect during your stay.  This lecture will include a several-time mention of how they're the cheapest "hostel" in MC and they have the highest rating.  (He apparently forgets that the only place he's listed is on his FB page and agoda - no hostel sites at all.)  Which is good because sane, respectable people wouldn't want to come here.  He'll also let you know several times that walk-ins really aren't expected or wanted.  Go figure.  And don't forget to listen to the part where he'll inform you that drugs and drinking are allowed on premises (tho not in the dorm rooms).   And there are no lockers or places to put your valuables (he'll also inform you that you're only the 3rd person in 8 months to ask for one and then use the rest of Latin America's hostels in which he supposedly stayed to reason why lockers aren't needed).  Well, when I came back to leave (there is no check-out time) to pick up my 2 bags, someone (and I'm sure I know who it was) had gone thru my backpack.  And having travelled around the world twice, I can tell you about the need for a place to lock valuables.

This place got 2 circles only because the 2 employees were friendly.

We booked this hostel based on good reviews about the location, the rooms and everything. It was really far from everything. The atmosphere at the hostel was very bad and a strange thing is that there were only men staying at this hostel. The rooms were dull and the building was very old. It was really cheap but it didn't worth it. The only good thing is that one of the owners is extremely friendly
