Nuru Palace Hotel

Stayed here for several days while visiting Kenya for a missions trip- extremely gracious, welcoming staff; Breakfast buffets were amazing!  I really enjoyed trying the Kenyan foods- SO good!  Bed was very comfortable, room very clean and a nice, hot shower at the day's end was very appreciated.  Thank you!

I organised a 2 week school trip to Kenya and our first hotel didnt meet standards so ended up staying here.
The hotel was much better than we expected. There are some rooms in a seperate block that are much older than those in the main hotel. The ones in the msin hotel are of a really good standard.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and bottles of water.
Wifi was ok in the reception area but poor in the rooms.
The resturant offers a variety of meals but service was quite slow.
No alcohol is sold or allowed in the hotel. However there is a bar right next door. There isnt anywhere to chill and hang out together so we often went to the bar next door to play pool and go on the park.
No pool but you can use the pool at Hotel Cathey around the corner for a charge.
Felt safe walking around the area even at night.
We all really enjoyed our stay here.


Spent two weeks here on a work related trip, the hotel is secure has guards and a barrier so you will feel safe here. The hotel itself has expanded over the years, which means depending on which rooms you get you could be in the old block,or the new block. The old block.. your doors lock with padlocks! the new block have key cards. So when you book be sure to check... new rooms have flat screen TV's old room have old TV's etc.. you get the picture. I stayed in the new room, which has large, comfy and cleaned daily. The thing that lets this hotel down is there isn't really anywhere to relax, the social area is a small bar that doesn't serve alcohol. Management are really helpful and friendly. Food is of good quality but the menu is very odd.. probably a Kenya thing but... one sausage, a muffin and beans. Overall I enjoyed the hotel. Wifi is good in parts of the hotel and not in others. The hotel is often used by schools so prepare yourself for noisy nights.

Comfortable room- great location, delicious food!!!

School Trip

Cheap, secure and friendly.. and a few buts.

Everything was beautiful including the rooms and the service was great. I enjoyed everything. The buffet had mouth watering foods, the waiters were courteous and always at your beck and call. I loved the serenity of the environment. 

Best place ever 

This could be a fantastic hotel if they renovated the bedrooms so that the water showers do not run past the toilet seat making the bathroom floor wet everywhere and unusable once you have had a shower. There are unnecessary walls in the bathroom rather than a simple shower curtain.
