Dining at Gio was an absolute delight a true taste of Italy in the heart of Athens! I had the best Linguine Arrabbiata I’ve ever tasted outside of Italy—perfectly al dente pasta with a rich, spicy tomato sauce that was bursting with flavor. The balance of heat, garlic, and herbs was spot on, and every bite was pure heaven. For dessert, I indulged in an authentic Italian Affogato a simple yet divine combination of creamy vanilla gelato drowned in a shot of strong, aromatic espresso.It was the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal. The restaurant itself is elegant yet cozy, with a refined ambiance that makes it ideal for a romantic dinner or a special night out.
