Avoid at all cost, the family who run this establishment are shockingly despicable. This was our 1st stop on what should’ve been a celebratory island hopping holiday.  We arrived during storm Daniel which led to wide spread flooding & found ourselves stranded in this guest house with no food or water. We requested such, offered to pay & got told they didn’t have any either(!) to which the family then sat eating their lunch infront of us. 

A young couple got asked to leave their room early & were stuck in the communal area with no food or water either. As owners of a guest house I expect a certain level of empathy for guests, especially during what quickly appeared to be an emergency scenario, we received nothing! The family were cold & uninterested in our situation, not what I’ve ever experienced from Greek hospitality, all the while the water was rising & rising at both the front & rear of the property. This was extremely overwhelming & upsetting for us as we hadn’t eaten for 24hrs & were reliant on their non existent hospitality.  They do not deserve to call themselves hosts. Avoid avoid avoid! 

Disgraceful, I would give zero star if possible! 

Do not stay here ! We had an absolute terrible experience !

We stayed here last week (4-5 September 2023) just as storm Daniel hit.

We had no food or water for 24 hours and when we asked the host if they had any she replied they had none, but proceeded to make a hot meal for their family and eat this in front of us, knowing we had no food or drink. 

Another couple were not allowed to stay an extra night as they did not have cash, only card and she said she did not accept cards. We gave them some cash but she did not let them stay and screamed at them to leave. We had 2 twin rooms and offered them one of these rooms for the night. The host said this was not allowed as it was not policy. We stated this was an emergency and could they allow this. Again we were told no and were shouted at. They then had to leave the property in the dark and rain to find somewhere else to stay. 

At no time did the host check whether we needed anything or were ok.

It was absolutely terrifying and the host did not consider our situation as tourists in a foreign country and not speaking the language. 

Despite being extremely worried about the situation, the host did nothing to try and alleviate our fears or concerns. We were just shouted at and left to our own devices. 

I definitely would not recommend this property to anyone and strongly advise people to avoid at all costs.

Iliada is off the beaten track and for me, it was tough to find, but it was 11pm after a LOOOONG day's travel and I was tired and frustrated by the driver who dropped me at the end of a cross street and said it's over there...somewhere.  I texted Ioanna and she came out to find me, bless her and showed me the loveliest hospitality.  In the AM, Ioanna and her mother Katerina treated me to coffee and conversation and it was the loveliest introduction to Greece.  The room was excellent, the accommodations simple but perfect.  The location, in the end, was perfect for touristing.  If I ever come back this way, this is where I will stay!

Do come and stay!

Quiet tranquil accomodation spotlessly clean located near to Papadiamantis Street. Rooms are cleaned everyday and are comfortable and air conditioned.
A lovely seating terrace in the garden was the scene of many enjoyable discussions with Ioanna and  her mother Katerina, two of the most friendly kind people I have ever met. A magical week in Skiathos. I was sad to leave. Wonderful. 

Idyllic stay with wonderful greek hospitality. 

i arrived late due to a flight delay which was not a problem, i  found the studio very easy from the main bus station to town ,literally 15 minutes enjoyable walk to the accommodation(i had a small suitcase) i received a warm welcome from the hosts  Ioanna and mrs katerina , a complimentary bottle water and a refreshing coffee , they showed me my room (double although travelled solo)clean , exactly as advertised ,  there were clean towels ,hot water, a comfortable bed which is great after a long day , a fridge and a kitchenette  .there's a  communal area , its a courtyard  including a lovely shade with different types of plants trees and flowers also the communal area is decorated with taste ,there's also a large hanging line for clothes discreetly visible ,and sitting areas for each unit facing the stunning courtyard !!there's a nother bus stop 10 ten minutes from the studios near a supermarket sklavenitis that takes you to the beaches around the island. 
the studio although in Town is very quiet and peaceful, which makes this accommodation perfect for a vacation  to really enjoy!
i have to say the hosts are absolutely  lovely, had recommendations and   made me feel like a friend more than just another tourist guest , hands down a  top rated accomodation to stay when visiting skiathos is Iliada Studios 
ill definitely be visiting again !!Thanks to Ioanna and mrs katerina!!

Search no more ! highly  recommended no exageration

The location is very near the city and the port which can easily be reached by walk. It is also well connected to the bus stops. The family that runs Iliada rooms is very welcoming and polite. 
Would definitely recommend  it! We had a great time there.

Located just a few steps from downtown, I strongly recommend Iliada for the impeccable cleaning of the room and for the unique kindness of Joanna and her mother! You are two wonderful people and I thank you again for your wonderful welcome! I embrace you strongly strong.

A night at Skiathos

Gen. One of the most humbling experiences. Lovely family run accommodation. Couldn’t ask for a more receptive and welcoming reception. Highly recommend.

Iliada is positioned in the center, so it makes it easy for you to go anywhere really. Rooms are always clean (they get cleaned every day) and the owners are just perfect. I've been around and you just won't get any better. If/when I visit Skiathos again, I'll know exactly what acomodation to choose <3

Easiest 5* I've ever given

the room is very nice, it has everything you need for a peaceful stay. the girl is very sweet, polite and always available! it was truly a wonderful discovery. plus, the studios are very close to the center, 5 minutes on foot. congratulations to Ioanna, everything was perfect!! 
i hope to come back and definitely i will choose iliada studios!
