Suites of the Gods Cave Spa

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Suites of the Gods Cave & Spa in Santorini from February 3 to 5, 2025. While Santorini itself is always a breathtaking destination, my visit was accompanied by an unexpected challenge—ongoing seismic activity. Despite the situation, my experience at the hotel remained memorable, and I’d like to share my honest review.The Hotel & AtmosphereThe hotel’s location is stunning, offering panoramic caldera views that are truly unmatched. The architecture blends seamlessly with the island’s natural beauty, and the cave-style suites provide a unique, luxurious feel. However, the earthquakes did add a layer of unease to the experience. The tremors were noticeable, but the hotel’s structure felt solid, which provided some reassurance.Room & ComfortI stayed in a cave-style suite, which was spacious, elegantly decorated, and featured a private terrace overlooking the caldera. The ambiance was relaxing, and the in-room amenities were top-notch. That said, due to the ongoing tremors, some minor disturbances occurred—like occasional vibrations—but nothing alarming enough to force evacuation.Staff & ServiceThe hotel staff was exceptionally professional and accommodating, especially considering the circumstances. They remained calm, reassured guests.
