Sea Melody Studios

We had a memorable experience staying at Sea Melody Studios and wish we had at least another week! We chose the place upon a friend's recommendation. Pros: - the location is superb;some 50-100 m off a beautiful beach, our balcony had a full sea view. We even caught a full moon one night reflecting on the sea with the moonlight coming all the way towards our room! Really quite and serene. - The nearby beach is beautiful, but there are several other beaches nearby to choose from - the surrounding area is nicely adorned, with a bench, trees, etc. (there is some work in progress I think). - our room was one of the renovated ones, beautifully decorated with a nice open shower and high quality materials. I don't think all the rooms are like that though, that room was better than the pictures in the website. Fully equipped kitchenette, flat-screen TV, A/C, comfy bed and a nice private balcony. - Mrs. Evangelia, the owner, was extremely polite and accommodating, offering suggestions. - There is ample parking space inside the private yard. - Great value; I don't if COVID-19 had any impact, but the price for the provided service was excellent. - COVID-19 related: The place was regularly cleaned and the staff wore protective gear when cleaning (gloves and mask/screen). The room and all the facilities looked very clean. Cons: - The location is great, but you need to drive through a bumpy dirt road for the last part. Not an issue for us. Distance from Naxos Chora is about 15-18 min by car. Don't know about public transportation access. Highly recommended!
