Hotel Delfini

Hello I stayed for 16 nights ( from 25.03 to 10.04) in Hotel Delfini which is located in a district called Moschato in Athens. It took 35 minutes to reach the hotel coming from Athens airport. No idea about the price of the taxi because my company already paid the driver.same for my stay in the hotel . I asked the receptionnist how much I can pay to extend my stay for a night and he told 45 € breakfast included. I stayed in room 106 Location : calm district called Moschato. Just in front of the hotel, there is a veterinarian so if you have a room with balcon, expect to see clients of the veterinarian bringing their pets, but no noise at all. With 5€ or less, you can take a taxi to take you to Piraeus with it's nice Marina where you can have a pleasant walk.think of installing an application that helps you to find a taxi and inform you about the price of the taxi drive ( don't know if it is allowed to write it here or not ) 2 minutes walk from the hotel, there is a supermarket where you can buy water,juice, snacks,bread, cheese,... And 30 meters from the hotel, there is a kind of street kiosk where you can buy snacks and drinks. There is a metro station at two steps from the hotel, and 10 minutes slow walk are enough to find your self in a commercial zone where you find a post office, banks with ATM, cafés, pizzarias, phone and internet companies, supermarkets, shops of clothes and so on. Breakfast : served daily directly in your room within a box that contains a fruit, a packed juice, a triangle cheese sandwich, a chocolate bar, an egg, a yoghurt, little packed honey and butter,... and a hot water in cup if you want to drop the Nescafé in it to make a coffe , in addition to a little bottle of water Enough to fulfill your stomach and start your day. Room : standard one. Equipped with air conditioner. A TV (that I never used). Good bad. A place where to put your clothes. A balcony to make the room airy which is convenient for remote work (online working ) which was the case for me. Bathroom : shower cabin. Hot water is available around the clock. If you run out of toiletries, just ask the receptionnist on duty or the housekeeper on duty to provide you with what you need. Housekeeping : done every 3 days due to the covid-19 situation but when you want to change the bedsheets or the bin basket, speak with the receptionnist or housekeeper on duty. Staff: helpful and if you have very few documents to print, they will do it for you. I lost the magnetic key card of the room and the receptionnist gave me another one without paying a fee. WiFi : costless WiFi. works in the reception area and in some part of the first floor. The Hotel in general : clean, located in a quiet location, suitable for those who want to spend a week or a week end in Athens . The elevators are a bit narrow but think of using the stairs instead.
