Socrates Organic Village Agrilia

My wife Anna found this accommodation for a 5 day break to attend a family wedding in a nearby village, and we loved it. The whole site has 360 degree views of the mountains and the scenery is just beautiful. But what makes this place truly special, is that you can tell it hasn't been built with profit in mind, it has been built truly out of love for the area and for the potential of the place to exist as a hidden retreat where you can go to appreciate nature and tranquility. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and are finished to a high standard of quality. But we spent very little time in our room, and the majority of our time was spent sunbathing around the two pools. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. We actually got to meet the owner of the hotel, Socrates, who is truly an amazing guy. He spent a lot of his time getting to know us and our family and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. He was really interested in us and our lives, and we got to know all about his plans for the area and some very useful local knowledge. We were so pleased that he had so much time for us, and it really made the trip memorable and special. We were treated like family. Everything about the location was perfect for us and we are already planning to return as soon as we can. Myself and my wife highly recommend Socrates Organic Village, especially if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place where respect for nature is the main philosophy 😀 Chris & Anna
