We stayed at Fyri Ammos at the beginning of September for 7 nights and we had a wonderful time! First of all the location of the apartments is perfect!Near the beach, quiet neighborhood so kids could play without fear (we have 2) and sleeping was very calm.
The family of owners was very friendly and helpful.The apartments were more than our expectations in equipment.
I am sure that we are going to stay there again when we come back to Kythira!

We had a great time at Fyri Ammos, we stayed for three days(four nights) but that was for sure to short to relax and see the island. Good reason to visit again but than longer. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean, quiet and the view is excellent.

We had very relaxing holidays (9 days) on this natural island. Fyri Ammos provides very nice appartements. Clean, functional and with a beautiful view to the ocean from the balcony. 
Arround the appartments there are a lot of flowers and the renter familiy is very nice..
The ocean is very close to the apparments.
The rooms are very functional,. adequate kitchen. Air condition in living room - we missed an additional AC in the sleeping room.
The house is in a really quiete place near village called Agios Pelagia. A very nice town with fine restaurants.
The whole island is very quiete with only a few tourists even in summer. Tourist are mainly from Greek or Australia (where a lot of Kytherian people migrated to).
So we really think to come again someday.

We stayed here for 9 days and we had a marvellous time. The apt is spacious, clean and modern. It has a lovely view from the balcony and it is 2 min from a beautiful sandy, pebbly beach. It is also a 10 min walk or a 2 min drive from Agia Pelagia itself where there are shops, restaurants and a sandy beach with ombrellas where it is possible to swim when the sea is rougher on the other beach. It is also as close to two equally wonderful beaches, Laggada Beach and a little one further on which has a lake created by a ravine: a wonder. 
Although the owners had to go back to Athens they were extremely helpful and welcoming over the phone. 

Only improvement would be some green area outside where the children could play when at home, but I think it is in the card. I also would have preferred a way to sleep with the windows open and no air conditioning (which I dislike) without compromising on security but it is only a personal comment and plus most of the accomodation we stayed in greece where organised in such way.

holidays on a very relaxing island

A very peaceful place.

Perfect address to relax

We regret staying at Fyri Ammos apartments. the service was horrible. The owners appear to go out of their way to make your stay hell. they come past most days and tell you to turn off the water, turn off the lights, keep down the noise, what noise, the tv didn't work. not that it was anything special, the tv was a 20cm screen from 40 years ago, I think my Ipad has a bigger screen. Most facilities were substandard. the bathroom is tiny, the shower, a trickle of water running into something no bigger than a kitchen sink. So many examples of extremely poor service. Even the sheets were replaced with ones not yet cleaned. 

Whilst we were there, other patrons were also treated like crap and complained. One family was thrown out an hour before checkout. they had not finished packing and were literally thrown out with their children.

The location is awesome, but for much less money you could find something much better which would include a proper shower, breakfast, maybe even friendly service.

The operators are inexperienced. So everything is a problem for them. Do not stay here.
