Annas House

We were sent here by a trusted friend and Travel Councillor Katrina who thought we’d like it…we didn’t, we absolutely loved it ! We were in the main building on the top floor with views over the mountains and the sea to the other way, always something interesting to look at. The apartment was one double bedroom, bathroom , kitchenette and living room..immaculately clean when we arrived and remained so throughout the holiday with the wonderful housekeeping ladies who work so hard..big thanks to them. Arizanna, Evita on reception and Joannis in the bar were also great in every way, thanks to them too. The pool was a good size and temperature and the sun beds were fine and not too much of the towels on beds in the morning going on ! When we got there we were the only English people there which was a new and pleasant experience for us ! It seemed mostly Scandinavian couples and families who were very nice. The lovely beach was a 10/15 minute walk away , beautifully clean and clear water but beware of the cold streams which take your breath away a bit at first but we kept going back so not that bad ! We loved the local town restaurants particularly Valentino, Babis, Arolithos, the staff in all of them were lovely but we generally had very good meals and a warm welcome everywhere , we walked in every night 15/20 mins …it’s a very pretty town and we also loved Anna’s supermarket…what a character she is and often she added free cake or treats to our shopping …. You don’t get that at home ! We normally try different places but we’d be very happy to go back to Anna’s House.
