Lying on the bed, looking thru the window of the balcony and watching the sun rising over the sea. It is unforgettable. Everyday cleaning, nice stuff, low prices and for a little extra charge you can stay until 6pm on leaving day. When we'll go back to Karpathos ('cause we must), sure that this will be our accomodation again.

I stayed at this location on the Greek Island of Kaprathos from July 8th - July 24th. The rooms are actually like mini apartments and have a kitchen available with sink, stove burners and refrigerators. This was great because you can buy groceries and cut costs on meals. 
We rented the larger room for 4 which is across the street from the beach. The smaller units for 2 people are ON the beach and have the most wonderful view of the ocean and port. 
The location is about a 25 minute leisure walk from town center which is great because it is quite after 11 p.m. at night. Also, it is the last hotel on the main road on the beach so it is not as crowded as other locations. 
The staff was helpful and very nice. The rooms were clean. There were 4 of us and we had enough room without feeling cramped. There is a restaurant on the premises, not affiliated with hotel, but is great for a quick bite to eat. They also have a bar on the beach that allow you to sit and view the ocean while having a drink. 
The beach has chairs and umbrellas for rent a daily rate of 6 euros for 2 chairs and umbrella for an entire day. You can leave your towels on the chairs and go back later without worry that you will lose your spot. 
The only issues that a traveler should be aware of is that there are no phones in the rooms/apartments and internet is spotty. This is an island issue, not particularly a hotel issue. If you have a cellphone you should be fine. There are also internet cafes in town that are great for connecting should you need to. 
The sunrise is beautiful from this location. Staff speaks both Greek and English. It is a small location I think about 20 rooms, but that adds to the charm. You feel like you are on a Greek island rather than a resort. So if you want a large resort this is Not for you. But if you want a cozy location ON the beach this is for you. I would stay there again.

Nice place on the beach, 20 minutes walking from Pigadia. The studios Baywatch and the café-restaurant on the ground floor have not the same owner. We had breakfast in the studios (well equipped) and never at the bar ground floor. We tried instead the Atki studio (nearby) and it was great (fresh and cheap). Every apartment has a small kitchen, a refrigerator, a satellite TV (BBC,..).
The view from the balcony is wonderful (we were on the second floor); there are only three studios on the ground floor, all the others have view on the beach and Pigadia Port.
Markets, pharmacies, tavernas and car rentals are on the street behind Baywatch. The rooms are cleaned everyday, they changed the towels every three days.
Two beach chairs and one umbrella cost 5 euros a day. Only note, Pigadia is a sand beach so if you go on July/August beware the Meltemi (the typical wind), which makes it difficult to stay in the beach. But you can always move on the north part of the Island, protected from the wind (you may need a car)
Overall, wonderful location, perfect to explore the island but having all the services nearby!!

On the beach!

We stayed here for a couple of nights and paid 45 euros per night. Our room (mid-September) got very hot so you really do need airconditioning which was included in our price (though nobody made us aware of this: they keep the remote control for the aircon unit at reception and you have to request it). The double bed was a good size and there was a small kitchen unit in the room and a separate showerroom. The room was cleaned daily and we also had a small balcony with sea view. The location is great in the sense that the hotel is literally on the beach: you leave your room, go down a staircase which takes you to the beach bar/restaurant terrace and you are immediately on the beach. Apparently, the bar/restaurant are owned by different people (although we had our breakfast there and kept seeing the same people) and they will try to charge you 5 euros for 2 sunbeds even if you are a hotel guest. There is also no Wifi at the hotel (you have to go the hotel/beach bar next door) and the hotel, like all the others is by a main road with quite a bit of traffic. This is the main road into Pigadia/Karpathos town which is lined with hotels and restaurants. If you are looking for good food, avoid the restaurants on this road: they are for the tourists who live in the hotels/apartments there. Your best bet is the harbour (about 20-30mins) walk or 5 euros by taxi. Don't go too early in the evening: Greeks don't go out for dinner until 8.30/9.30 so if you see a place that is packed with Greek people at 9pm this is the place to go!). 
The restaurant at the hotel organises Greek nights with traditional music where there is plenty of food but the music is quite loud so choose your table wisely! 
The beach itself is nice and quiet as it is further away from the town. Not sure we would go back as we had great rooms in Greece at half the price (though, admittedly, not directly on the beach). Karpathos in general was nice and still pretty hot mid-September but it is definitely more expensive than some of the other islands, both in terms of hotels and food so shop around! Also, definitely book your car hire BEFORE you get there as there are few local firms who fix the prices: they don't want to start a price war. They tried to charge us 50 euros a day for a tiny car and apparently in high season (July, August) the price goes up to 90 or 100 euros. However, we found cheaper prices over the internet. 
We did one boat tour around the different beaches with the boat "Sofia my love" which you can find in the harbour. It costs 22 euros including barbecue. The boat and the beaches were great but the barbecue portions are not big (only one tiny bit of souvlaki, rice and cabbage salad) and I suggest you bring your own beers/water etc.....! When you are served the food for the barbecue, they encourage you to each take a drink and only later do you find out that a small water costs 1 euro and a beer 3.50 euros (in the shop you won't pay anymore than 1.50). Again, I would recommend this tour but be aware, especially if you are on a budget.

Good hotel if you want to be on/by the beach

In years of visiting Karpathos, this is the worst place we have stayed. Rude, dishonest and unhelpful management. Dirty, dark, noisy and stinky rooms. Room smells like a cigarette bar and bathroom like an outhouse. They will not clean room properly or as often as promised, have to practically beg for a clean towel. Hotel has no lobby or waiting area, the restaurant attached is separately owned and they harass guests to purchase something, even on the beach since they require payment for umbrellas. We sat down to wait for our room and within two minutes the restaurant staff came to request payment for use of beach chair. No privacy anywhere since you must walk through restaurant to get to beach.  Rooms are very noisy, can hear everything in the other rooms and restaurant and the cars on the street are practically driving through the living the room. This is also one of the farthest hotels from the city center and the grocery store. Almost anything else is a better option than staying here.

Unpleasant

1) Very noisy- The bedroom is very near by the road and you feel that your bed is in the middle of the road.
2) It was very dirty - it is the first time that I stayed in a hotel room and I had to clean it. 
When we complained about it instead of come and clean it they provided us with cleaning materials!!!
3) No wifi 
The positive thing is that I had found a better value and of course much more clean hotel and I left without second thought...
P.s. We had the "lack" to stay in the room that the photos show....
