Clean hotel. Basic rooms with fridge and AC. AC included in the price. Friendly staff. About a 3-4 minute walk from the center and the city beach. Parking right outside the hotel, although could at some times be full. Breakfast could be bought on site for a few euros a day. The owner tries to accommodate your every need. Overall happy with our stay, no particular complaints.

It is the second time I stayed in Hotel Sunrise, in Pigadia, the capital of the island of Karpathos in the south of the Aegean sea. I absolutely recommend it!!
Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the center but in a very quiet area, neat the archeological museum and opposite a very nice beach, extremely clean and very friendly!!! Best value for money!

Sunrise was a great place to stay in Karpathos.  Very clean.  The staff was very friendly and easy-going.  The room had a fantastic view.  Large restaurant and many tables on the ground floor to enjoy the scene.  It is right in the town, so easy walk to the port, restaurants.  Don't second think the Sunrise - Book it!

Situated 2 minuttes walk from the small busstation, 4 minuttes to the harbour, and the towncenter starting just outsider the door, hotel Sunrise is a good choice.
For the price given it is very good!
The service, the cleaning, the breakfast and the room with a nice view to the see, will give you a nice stay!

We found the hotel through Google, we got in contact with the owner on their public site and trusted the man, so we got our accommodation and paid 15% in advance. We expected a 2* hotel as it had a lower rate than other places around, but when we arrived we realised it was way better. The photos they share are less than the reality. The double room was large enough, the family room was way larger (including 2 rooms with king size beds and an extra large balcony). The bathrooms are small but not at all too small, the balconies are large enough for 2 persons. The breakfast included was considered repetitive but we found it offered quite an option (boiled eggs, cheese, butter, coffee, tea, greek yoghurt, honey, jams, confitures, cold cuts, milk and cereals, olives, fresh melon and watermelon). It really is very clean and the stuff is very polite and helpful. All the rooms have a great sea view on the bay, especially on higher floors, shade in the morning - very useful, the elevator is large and functional. It is situated in a pretty quite area - needed at night, but very close to everything you need (markets, local beach - to use only on the firts day and tavernas). The air conditioning is good and functional, the fridge included also spacious and quiet. There is no kichinette as it is a hotel but not needed, either. They speak good English and the owner, Mr. Michael is very professional and helpful, as he took into consideration all our needs and even found us a car at a good price in no time. They are not nosy but careful with everyone's needs. We really enjoyed the stay at Sunrise hotel and highly recommend it !

Was surprised at the hotel as it was my first time in karpathos and was unsure what to expect.
The hotel is situated over looking the beach and harbour.
Views stunning.
It's within minutes from the beach or a walk along the harbour where you will find some fab cafe bars.
The hotel itself is spotless and very relaxed.
Staff very friendly.
Decor is modern and comfortable.
Breakfast was good as there was a good variety.
If in Karpathos this is one to stay in.

This is an excellent place to use as a base for a few days in Karpathos. It is located just outside the harbor, a 5-10 min walk, and near the beach, car rental, shops and restaurant. The place is a renovated four floors building with no frills but clean and functional rooms. Excellent and quiet air conditioning and a good bathroom. Most of the rooms have a balcony with view of the bay. It is family owned and operated and provides and excellent and knowledgeable service. Their is a little bar and the breakfast is "minimalistic". This is the place to stay if you require a non frill, clean, nice and quiet hotel at an amazing cost.

Room big enough with balcony. Baddest thing, there was a air tube in the bathroom where came smell of cigarette smoke, hate it. Refridgerator big enough, usefull. Breakfast is very good with many things. Parking is limited. The price is very good.

This is a delicious Hotel in the centre of Pigadia. You just ought to walk out the door and the great offers of Restaurants and shops appear to you. The port is very close.
The beach is very close as well but if you want reach the nicest one you gotta walk at least 500/600 meters.
