31 reviewsWe found this by chance after a trip to amoopi beach. Perfect little cove with about 12 umbrellas with sun beds for 6 euros for the day. This is a well sheltered stony beach so perfect for those windy days in Karpathos. Preferable to get to the beach by car as otherwise a long walk from the main road. There are no facilities so take plenty of water and food if you plan to be there for the day. Lovely snorkelling in very clear water but suggest beach shoes for swimming due to stones. We visited on 4 occasions and on three of these there were only a couple of other people there so very peaceful and romantic , you can even get away with some naked swimming if discreet. Not for everyone but we loved it and was our favourite karpathos beach.
