just come back from villa vallia apartments in acharavi read a review dont stop here. these are 3 star not 5 star and are a great place to stay ok they could do with a little tlc but you get what you pay for .the young man who looks after them antonio is one of the nicest blokes you could meet he will do anything vfor you no trouble at all.no beer in the bar which is a plus you can go the supermarket and get your own beer for half the price he even offered to go for us but we said no.he never stops working from early morning untill late at night enjoyed it that much am going back in september would recomend these to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday

We just returned from two weeks at the Vallia apartments. I searched hi and low for recent reviews and couldn't find any  so hope this helps.

We booked a cheapie deal through lowcostholidays.com which included the flights and transfers, everything went smoothly with the organisation so no complaints there.

When we arrived at the apartments we were shown to the maisonette we had booked  by Antonio the Philippine employee and left to it. The electricity wasn't on , no problem the junction box was accessible so we just flicked the switches but there were no towels or toiletpaper in the 
bathroom!!. Having travelled to Greece manytimes and knowing that sometimes only the first loo roll is supplied I had packed a couple so we were lucky there.

I found Antonio for the towels and we were supplied with TWO hand sized towels between the two of us, that was it. Towels were changed when the room was cleaned which was supposed to be 3
 times a week  but in the two weeks we were there it was cleaned no more than 4 , not good when you have to put toilet paper in the bin provided. 
There was a new  shower curtain around the shower tray which is a luxury in Greece but the shower hose was black with mold, nothing a good soak in bleach wouldn't sort out

The masoinette upper bedroom has a sloping roof so is no good for anyone who is tall or has a bad back. My hubby ended up sleeping downstairs on one of the other beds . There wasn't a full length mirror anywhere in the room and only two spare electric sockets, one up stairs and one down.

The kitchen cupboards had been renovated but the white goods hadn't.  Our fridge had rust on the 
bottom and the freezer section door was hanging off, a storage section door was held closed by a  sticking plaster. An electric coffee maker was supplied , new but no kettle or toaster. Cooking was available on two electric rings with a grill , I could not get the oven to work . There was an array of dishes and utensils.

The property had very few guests in and so the lovely small pool was mostly private through out our stay , we really enjoyed the peace and quiet . There wasn't a shallow end for tinytots
One surprising thing was the  FREE wifi available around the pool. 
The snack bar never opened while we were there, we left on 11th June.

Vallia apartments has a great location, turn left for the short walk to the beach and some great sunsets from the restaurants there, or turn right for the town and the multitude of eateries there plus supermarkets and shopping

We understand that there had been a bereavement in the family and this possibily explains the slap dash running of the place. The owners were only there at the weekend so Antonio was doing everything from pool cleaning,  gardening and room cleaning, too much for one person.
We would stay here again if  the price was right and take extra towels and a supply of peddle bin bags for the loo bin.

Great value and location , could be a gem.

Just returned from this accommodation after a week, we read a couple of reviews about the place especially the cleanliness but we are open minded but they were right the place was thilthy dirty mainly because they are never cleaned so we went and bought our own bleach and cleaning materials and cleaned it ourselfs not ideal but you want it clean, the guy they have managing the place his on his own and spends more time cutting the grass and pruning the flowers,
The other issues we had were the towels we were given they were small hand towels one each to last three days ludicrous and a shower curtain which finished two feet from the floor why!!!!! 
This place has clearly been left to deteriorate it's not fit for purpose just don't bother 
Last note there's been some confusion about this place and one with a similar name be in no doubt THEY ARE THE SAME PLASE

Very dirty never cleaned

dont go there worst place i have come across in thirty visits to greece young philipino tried his best but place so neglected and run down pool bar was empty never seen pool used in 2weeks there rooms in need of renovation a little investment and effort could make this a nice place starting with cleaning the place up
