Hostal La Castellana

The rooms facing the street are clean and large with a balcony (good for people watching). Linens changed daily. Small breakfast (eggs, toast, juice, coffee) included (though we found better coffee at Cafe Lojano). Staff are friendly and helpful. Credit cards are accepted. Free wifi + two computers for guests in 1st floor hall. No phones, ice or vending machines. Spanish is necessary(!), since staff speak very limited english. The best part is an easy two block walk to Parque Calderon (main square). This was our second trip. Stayed two weeks and were NOT anxious to leave.
