Astoria Hotel and it did not disappoint for our city break. HOTEL/ROOM/CHECK-IN When we arrived at the hotel, we checked in which was nice and easy. We were given our room number, key cards and all the other relevant information such as breakfast times and wifi passwords. We stayed on the fifth floor so the lifts were very handy. The room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom did have a bath with a shower aswell and a standard hairdryer attached to the wall. There was tea/coffee making facilities too. The room temperature was relatively easy to control with the dial that was on the wall, and we were able to open the windows if needed. There was a little bit of noise at night time from other people on the streets but nothing major. LOCATION Location was great! It’s literally around the corner from the Powder Gate Tower and only a short 5-10 minute walk from the Old Town Square, where the Astronomical Clock is located. It's a 15 minute walk from this hotel to the Charles Bridge. CHECK-OUT Check out was at llam, very straight forward and we paid the tourist taxes on checkout too. We had an evening flight and left our luggage at the hotel which was only a very small fee which was equivalent to about €1/€2. We were given a number and the same number was stuck on both our suitcases so that the staff knew they were ours. We've already recommended this hotel!
