Relaxed and friendly family atmosphere. Very nice staff, great food in restaurant. Lovely old house, 400-600 yrs old. Time has for sure left its mark on her but the ol' girl is beautiful and we slept well in comfortable beds. The elevator is interesting. But still, there's a small one, squeesed in, between ancient stone walls. Nice breakfast with fresh bread, cold cuts and cheese and more. And the the pastries...mmm... soo good. And for lunch / dinner (you gotta') try the chefs homemade beef Gulasch in a bread pot😋 Very very tasty. I had it with a beer and a schnaps/ shot of Czech Slivovic. Only 300 meters/984 feet to famous Karlův most/ the Charles Bridge crossing the Vltava river. 600 meters to the Pomník mistra Jana Husa/ Jan Hus Monument at Old Town Square. — stop #4 Green Line, Hop On Hop Off buses, for the short ride. Change to Red Line for the longer ride up to the amazing great castle. And change to the Blue Line - a slow boat on Vltava. 450 meters to the Pražský orloj/ Prague astronomical clock. Very convenient, walking distance to most places of interest. Vibrant Karlova street a few steps from the hotel doorstep with cafes, shopping, restaurants and a lot of July - weekend tourists. Just great. And great with the airport transfer that you book by the hotel. Only 33€, our bags were heavy when we left. Slivovic n' Pivo/ beer is great souvenirs to bring back home. Highly recommend Pension U Lilie.
