We booked a twin room for 2 nights at a very cheap price. They have a single and a double room too. Seems to be inside a block of flats, good security, three locked doors between you and the street. Looks from outside are very deceiving in this not the poshest area of Zagreb but the room was very clean and comfortable with a decent modern en-suite toilet and shower room. TV in room and very good free wifi. Access to a fridge and kettle shared between the three rooms. Very good communication from owners. Lady showed up on time to let us in and show us around. Not a word of English but good hand signals and very friendly. Location is five minutes from main tram station, only 10 kuna for a ticket into town centre. Also close to many bars, a few good restaurants and a couple of supermarkets.

We stayed at this location two times on our arrival and departure from Croatia. The location is right is right in the heart of the old town.  Maria was especially helpful.  We had 2 different rooms and both were nicely decorated. There is no convenient parking so I would suggest renting a car when you are leaving Zagreb. It is a a good value for the location as the major hotel chains were at least twice the price.

We went to Zagreb in mid-Sept for a long weekend break, and chose to stay here because of the location: right off the main square and close to dozens of shops, cafes and restaurants. It was a great decision. The owner and her staff (Maria especially) were very helpful and gave us maps and recommendations for places to eat and things to see. The room itself was basically a small apartment, complete with wifi, cable tv, and a small kitchen. Although it was a 4th floor walk-up (not my favorite aspect of the place), I would gladly book it again for a return stay because it was reasonably priced, right in the middle of everything (walking distance to pretty much all we saw/did there).

Owner doesn't speak much English but was friendly, if you have any questions about Zagreb it's better to head to the tourist info office in the main square! Tram is cheap enough so no issues on getting there, it's the Sveti Duh stop, number 2 or 6 from either the bus station or the train station. Room was nice enough, bathroom didn't seem to have been cleaned properly though. TV had about 30 channels, lots of American ones and ones for children! So plenty of choice if you speak English! Noise was a bit of an issue, you can hear everyone in the other rooms coming and going so they will wake you up if they get up earlier or come in later than you! Also the owner will inadvertently wake you up and keep you awake when she comes in to check in other guests as the doors/walls are very thin! The room had air-con which was great but really could have done with a fridge and bin as well. There is a kettle for tea and coffee in the hallway but nowhere cold to store milk! Shame really, if the room had a fridge it would be almost perfect!

Perfect location to see downtown Zagreb

a great little place to stay!

Great value for money, clean rooms, friendly service

Fine for a couple of days!

We stayed here for three nights in May 2014.  The rooms are a great price and the building is close to the tram line so it is easy to get to the main square.  There are restaurants, bank machines and grocery stores in the immediate area.  The room that we stayed in could probably use a renovation - maybe some new paint.  But it wasn't bad.  Totally acceptable for a three night stay at an affordable price in Zagreb.  I would stay again.
