A dart at a map, an amazingly expensive flight and after reading the reviews a fingers crossed booking of a "cheap " hotel €180 used for 6 nights. It was lovely, I've read reviews where patrons used the colectivo to get into town , I much preferred to walk, about 25 minutes. The area is ok with local a supermarket , local shops for beer and crisps and a take away for an amazing Perro calliente con cebolla y queso . The host was v.helpful and the breakfast always good and filling, continental cheese and ham rolls , yoghurt , posh tea , and biscuits - perfect It is about the same time to walk to the sea front , as the town centre, it was really warm one day and I had a beautiful walk to the casino hotel . This is a good neighbourhood and I didn't feel intimidated walking the streets. Its great.
