This was a cute little resort located towards the end of the beach which was nice because it was quieter than lots of the other resorts in the middle. Our little beach bungalow was very cute, the bed was comfortable, and the hammocks outside were our favorite afternoon spot! The food in the restaurant was delicious too!

So I was staying at ‘The One’ when I was on the island but came here for breakfast nearly every morning.. great eggs / juice / coffee or tea for $6! I also came twice for dinner - definitely the best pizza on the island (no question.) Service was also great, thanks to the Italian lady working here for great conversation and insight into Island life! Would recommend 100%

Great place to stay on the island!

Beat breakfast and pizza on the island

On Saracen Beach there are not many places that serve caffé latte. Cita restaurant served us two quite small cups, that tasted fine.
In the evening we enjoyed dinner at Cita, to have some tasteful pasta in stead of the Cambodian dishes we had for weeks. 
The next morning we came back for another caffé latte, tasted fine again, but this time they charged $3 per cup, $1 more than the day before. Even for an island, $3 is not a fair price for such a small cup.

I liked Cita Resort but some things should be better given the cost.

Positives:
- Good view;
- Rustic;
- Good food;
- Clean.

Negatives / things to consider:
- No wifi at the resort;
- Some rooms don't have a sea-view;
- Frequent visits from giant hornets and foot-long geckos;
- Be careful which ferry you take from the mainland to the island. Not all ferry companies take you to the nearest pier (few minutes walk). Some take you to a pier 30 minutes walk from the resort.

Good but costly get away

Spent 2 nights here at the start of our Koh Rong Samloem trip. Cost $20 more than other resorts per night but sadly was pretty disappointing. The beach view bungalow was badly in need of some repair. The balcony door barely opened and left you covered in a residue of peeling varnish. And the breakfast was pretty minimal especially when comparing to where we moved to. My muesli and fruit consisted of about an egg cup of muesli. 

Slightly redeeming Cita is their afternoon and dinner restaurant which is probably the best on the island so come for the food rather than sleep. 

Way overpriced for what it is

Visited Cita restaurant, absolutely not a good recommendation.
First visit, ordered penne carbonara, charged 7,5USD, shame for italian food... 3 pieces of (identified as) bacon in the middle of (maybe) cream, scandalous for this price!
Second visit, pizzas take away, the worst it's that the pizzas seems really good but as they packs it in white box (see pics) it become a kind of ball (mix of everything).
I came back to complain and to try to advise them to do not use this kind of box for take away but honestly, I have the feeling that they don't pay a sh..
