We happened upon this hostel before it was actually officially open but stayed there any ways and were so glad we did. David is super friendly and helpful and immediately got us a bed after seeing how tired we were from our night bus. Once refreshed he was more than happy to help us find different things to do and invited us to celebrate his new hostel that night. The hostel itself is small which gives it the family feel. The kitchen is well equipped and showers have hot water ( a little lacking in pressure). While staying there you get a 10% discount on all of the food from their partner restaurant which has decent food and already good prices. You also have the option to include breakfast for 5000P more. It is worth it! Some of the best eggs and toast I have had along with a cafe con leche and fresh juice. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to spend a night or two in Zipaquira.
