I made calls to the hotels and the response from the hotel staff varied from uninterested to my situation to friendly. A couple of hotels even inferred that I didn't have the item I was talking about from the beginning. Hotel Grand Plaza is different. I got a call from the hotel clerk alerting me that there was something that I left in the room. I didn't even realize I had a missing item! I was able to arrange a pickup by my friend who lives in the city. I am so happy that I chose this hotel for the final night in San Francisco.
