A great hostel if you are looking for a quiet place to retreat after a long day of hiking. Has small basic rooms, a nice kitchen, and a huge beautiful garden with 2 very playful dogs. But the true asset of the place is Samuel, the owner. He gives valuable advice about places to see and things to do. He is also an experienced rock climber and can offer excellent climbing tours for both beginners and advanced. During my stay in his hostel, Samuel showed me the town, the local market, gave me a culinary tour of the nearby villages on his motorbike. One of the best hosts I've met. Do not miss this place if in Sogamoso. Samuel is constantly improving the hostel and the services, you are in for a treat.
