What a wonderful place. I guess it’s so new very few locals seemed to know anything about this hostel, but let me tell you, we sure lucked out. Our private room with private bathroom, hot showers and flat screen tv was so beautiful when we first arrived we really thought that there had been a mistake with our booking. It was less than many dorm room rates we’ve experienced across Colombia. A quaint little bakery run by the owners of the hostel is downstairs next to a butcher shop. The facilities are all new and extremely clean. With laundry services and an adequate kitchen with working stove, fridge and microwave. The bed was sigNIFicantly one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept on in our time here in Colombia! Our hosts were communicative via WhatsApp and available for all of our questions, eager to share any answers they could. The hostel is smack dab in the heart of Solento but a block away from the main square so the evenings and mornings are unusually quiet and no better place to enjoy your locally grown morning coffee on one of the houses’s balconies looking out onto the neighbourhood. Highly recommend. Can’t imagine their prices staying as economical as they are for long though, this place is too nice!!
