Definitely the best hostel I've stayed in for years. I even came back with two friends for a longer stay. Location: Opposite an amazing and free-of-charge outdoor sports complex. Close enough to the good spots in Medellin. Kitchen: Restaurant grade stove and great kitchen space overall Internet: Had no problems in the months I was there People: Hostel attracts the right balance between work and play. Can work during the day and quiet enough to sleep at night. Staff: Friendly and professional.

All Colombian citizens, regardless of the length of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days, are required to pay a national sales tax (19%) on their accommodation during their stay. Foreign citizens with a tourist visa are exempt from paying this tax. If the person subject to tax and another person exempt from tax share the same room, the rate may be applied to the entire room.
