457 reviewsWonderful food and nearby coffee shops right next to the park with live musicians especially on weekends and holidays. The old elevator control took a little getting used to since too close to the door and the sensors stopped it. Besides the park and the Boulevard within 3 blocks were big shopping centers and clubs and shops of Central Shopping Andino! Good partying after shopping only a reasonable stroll back. Very nice places even on the corner and fun food vendors in the park night and day. Helpful staff for all things and getting taxis so easy even on Sundays with Blvd closed. We loved breakfast on the patio everyday for 10 days and the Italian restaurant at night. We saw several movie and TV stars at breakfast and coffee. Great sleeping and bathroom - only drawback is glass shower door should have magnetic latch like for cabinets installed so it does not swing open while showering. I always talk about Hotel Virrey Park when telling about Bogota as few Americans know it. I show photos too and had one of the best Xmas ever while there seeing the family and doing Novenas and seeing the city lights and Botanical Gardens.
