Hands down this is just a perfect stay! We loved Les Lezards so much we cancelled our next trip and stayed for 8 days! This meant we got to try out different rooms. All the rooms are special - they are themed - Africa (our favourite), Mexico, Santorini and La Mer. They each have a unique style. The hotel is simply beautiful - full of plants - from an open air shower we could pick mangoes (if they had been ripe!). The a/c is really efficient so the rooms provided a respite from the heat of Cartagena. The hotel is ideally located - a 5 minute walk from the centre of Getsameni - thus meant it was also a quiet haven but you could be in the thick of it with a short walk. What makes this hotel stand out though is Jean - the owners son. He went above and beyond to help us have a fabulous stay, He booked tours and gave us tips on where to go. He works so hard - every day to ensure all his guests have what they need. The hotel breakfast was top notch - I am missing the fruit juices already. There is also tortoises and cats to entertain you at breakfast. The hotel has lovely areas to sit and relax including a hot tub surrounded by flowers. All in all - just stay here!!
