We loved our stay in the heart of the walled city in this colonial gem. The hotel on on a gorgeous, colorful street in Old Town - instagrammers get your phones ready for some beautiful pictures! We had a lovely room with lots of light and great air conditioning. The room also had a safe, a mini fridge, and good wifi. We felt very secure with the locked front gate controlled by the hotel staff. Speaking of the staff - they are excellent! Kind, warm service every moment of our stay. Our bathroom had a bit of an awkward layout but little quirks are expected in a classic building. A delicious breakfast is served in the morning on a charming rooftop patio. We easily walked around the city from this location to markets, shops, and restaurants. Also located on the street is Sico Bike Rental - see Yudi to hook you up with great tours to Rosario Islands or Play Blanca. And check out La Cocina Cartagenera down the street for amazing food - get the arroz sepultado. Easy 15 peso cab ride to and from the airport. The hotel made our stay in Cartagena one to remember.
