Stopped at the Athabasca Inn Restaurant for lunch . The food was excellent and the service was great. Lots of parking and the restaurant is very clean and bright. No loud music and very comfortable. Excellent lunch.

A hidden gem in a small town. Friendly and helpful staff. Good rest stop for family with all the amenities in the room. Good restaurant located at the Inn, where locals come and eat the awesome breakfast. Shops nearby with in walking distance. A 10$ taxi ride from the train/bus station.

We were heading to Jasper, but needed a pick-me-up, and spotted the Athabasca Valley Inn & Suites.  It was very off season, and a number of places nearby didn't seem to be open, so we're glad the Athabasca was open. The coffee was good, and the cake hit the spot. The decor is nice, and everything was nice and clean.  Our server was very nice, and made this short stop into a good experience.

A comfortable place for a coffee and cake

Good Budget Hotel for the family

Took my daughters and grandson for lunch

We stayed at this hotel on a cross Canada road trip and were very impressed. The rooms are very nice and there was a fridge, microwave and good coffee maker. The bathroom was impressive, big and very clean with a full shower and the hotel is located near conveniences. Internet worked very well. Our only issue was no work area. This hotel provides excellent value and is recommended.

Very Good Value.

On arrival check in staff seemed really put out they had to do some work and check us in.  We were given a room at the back on the ground floor and although there was parking close by we were advised to park at the front and walk through, due to security.  We went to room and then out to dinner in the town.  On our return to the room the temperature was very high and we were told there was no air conditioning in the first floor rooms.  We said there was no way we would be able to sleep in the room.  Advised to open the window - bit difficult as there was no window to open and also no very security minded bearing we were on the first floor at back of property.  A different lady than the one who checked us in kindly upgraded us to another room which was absolutely fine and rest of stay there was good.

Disappointing

Old and dated..corridors stank of cigarette smoke but rooms were okay bit dark ..but spacious .had every thing we needed for our stay ...laundry facilities. Microwave and fridge 
Liked the fact there was a grocery store nearby ..bit away from the main highway..not well sign posted coming from  Jasper..wouldnt have found it without GPS
