Just a short walk from the train station this hotel is a bit of a surprise! Very quirky and it was nice to have a change from a cookie cutter style of hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for an overnight stay, though the bathroom layout was a bit weird and you’d have to be on close terms with whoever you are sharing with. There were no tea making facilities in the room which was a bit annoying, though they did provide some free beers in the minibar fridge. The standout element of our stay was breakfast. Really high quality food and drink, beautifully presented and the staff were fab. As good as any 5 star hotel breakfast in my opinion. We would re book for that alone!!
