As our first stop on a trip to Japan, we were pleased to have chosen this lovely hotel. Made to feel very welcome from the time we stepped into the lobby, given an explanation of what the hotel offered, asked if we had plans to visit the Expo, and shown where to get amenities for our room. I would call the room a nice size for a Japanese hotel room - certainly big enough for the 2 of us and our luggage. After our long trip to Japan, the bed was amazing, and the same thing can be said for the shower: a very nice room and a nice hotel. The location is great, unless you are looking for a lot of bars and nightlife. There is a convenience store right next door (plus more within easy walking distance), and several restaurants close by, but if you need more variety, you might want to travel a bit further. There is easy access to public transportation, and this is nicely located for a visit to Osaka Castle and the park. We loved it and would stay here again.
