What a lovely place, and what an amazing view! We booked an upper room on the fourth floor with a balcony and view over the ancient ruins of the Roman Forum. The elevator is tiny, which is fine with us, just a note for others. The entire hotel is decorated with flowers, beautiful smells and romantic, boutique touches. Our room was quite small but decorated beautifully so cute pillows and decorations. The bathroom was very small but the shower was good and the toiletries were nice. The bed was comfortable and I loved that they had extra blankets! The balcony was large with plants and the view was just amazing. No breakfast but there is a discount to the restaurants below (which are fairly well priced already). Right in the very heart of things, you are just a few minutes from the Colosseum and directly across from the Forum, so you can't beat the location. We chose to walk to the Rome Termini but the station called Colosseo is even closer. Mariella was lovely, and the price was very good. Totally recommend!
