Hotel Flora

This hotel is less than five minutes' walk from Milano Centrale railway station so top marks for location. I was quickly checked in by a pleasant man. My second floor room faced the street but with the double glazed window closed, I was not disturbed. When I paid the single room rate online, I asked for a large bed. My room had a very good Queen bed, so not a case of two singles pushed together. The room was well lit and had bedside tables, a desk and chair, curtains that were OK at blocking light and a second chair. There was a wardrobe with safety deposit box. A portable suitcase shelf was a handy feature missing in many other hotels. Bed linen was of excellent quality. The bathroom had a good rainwater shower. Towels were in great condition. There was a hairdryer. The mirror was large. The TV had a pleasing selection of English language channels starting at 301. There was a door between the vestibule and bedroom. I did not have breakfast but the cost would be 16 Euro. At checkout the male staffer was also friendly. If you want value for money, stay here.
