We’ve just returned from 3 nights here. What an excellent experience. Situated in a perfect place to explore Venice. We had breakfast overlooking the Grand Canal. Sat out every evening on the deck before we went out for dinner or after, watching the world go by with a drink or coffee. You see Venetian life sat there. The reception is staffed 24/7 and they cannot do enough for you. Helpful, friendly, welcoming. Our room was perfect, spacious and in keeping with the hotels’ history. They really want you to enjoy your trip to Venice. Everyone we met was happy to show you where/pass on tips and arrange whatever you need. The hotel is over 800 years old. It has a beautiful courtyard and everything was spotless. The final set of stairs to the third floor are steep but we’re in our 60’s and managed fine. Plus it was a good way to burn off some of the amazing food we tasted over our stay. You’re spoilt for choice. Whatever your budget. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. The bread was so light and not too sweet. A good selection every day and it varied each time. A small area but we never had to Wait and it meant that people talked to each other which was great. Sharing the best way to see things, shops etc.

Additional information

In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities.

A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel.
