We had a truly wonderful experience during our three-day stay in the Marriott Renaissance Barcelona in Spain. The room was very nice and the food was excellent in all three restaurants. However, the view from the rooftop restaurant should not be missed. Most important, though, was the spectacular service provided by virtually every member of the staff. Thay all made us feel very welcome and at home. In particular, I would single out Guest Services for figuring out where we could attend the nearest church service when we arrived, Concierge Steve Marques who managed to find us a terrific tour of Sagrada Familia on very short notice as well as providing the names of some excellent local spots in the area, and, finally, the Front Desk and Housekeeping staffs for locating an item of clothing that was left behind and securing it for us until we could return to pick it up. We will absolutely be staying in the Marriott Renaissance the next time we are in Barcelona because of the staff’s superb performance.
