Novotel Madrid Center

Arrived at the hotel roughly 4 hours before the check-in but we were able to get into the room right away. The room was very spacious, with amazing Aircon which was necessary as it was 38c outside. Also in the room was an iron and ironing board, kettle with plenty of coffee supplied and also some complimentary bottles of water. The basic toiletries are supplied as well. The rooms were spotlessly clean as was the large bathroom with a walk in shower. The rooms were cleaned daily, as required to a very high standard. The rooftop area was most welcome. It has a very small pool, ideal for cooling down in. Plenty of comfortable seating and sun loungers around, never once did we struggle to get seated. Also, there were numerous fans blowing around the terrace, spraying cooling mist which was most welcome. A small bar is also there serving beers, smoothies,cocktails and food too. The area. Very close to a good transport system but it's not an overly long walk into the centre. Close to retiro park and Las Ventas Bullring. If I return to Madrid I'd definitely return to this hotel.
