Have only experienced the Premier Inn in the UK before, and this seemed like a completely different chain. Comfortable size room with large TV, bathroom was very clean and well maintained, and very decent in-room facilities. The hotel comprised of a rooftop Swimming pool and jacuzzi and a 24-hour gym. On the ground floor was a 24-hour Costa Coffee cafe, and a UK-style pub restaurant (The 'Mr Toad') open 12pm to 12am. The restaurant had a very good range of food at a decent price, large selection of familiar beverages and Sky Sports shown on several TVs through the restaurant. The staff at the hotel reception, and the various other on-site venues were very friendly and the service all-round was excellent. The hotel offers a free shuttle every 30 minutes, 24hrs a day to and from the nearby airport (about 5mins drive) and free shuttles to two of Dubai's malls. This was only a short stop-over to make our return flight home less hassle - but at the price charged and what's offered, this would also make an ideal destination stay whilst holidaying in Dubai - and would also suit those on a budget. Likely to return here as our main hotel the next time we visit Dubai.
