This was my second solo trip & the second time I've stayed at the Grand LaWalon hotel. Nestled on Benesari Lane in Legian, it's a stones throw away from everything you need. The hotel is in good condition, the staff are friendly & helpful. The price makes it excellent value. Rooms are cleaned daily, two free bottles of water are provided daily. Pool area doesn't get full sun, because of the way the buildings are, but one side always has sun. There are plenty of sunbeds & whilst there isn't a pool bar, there is a bar there and the staff come around often offering drinks/snacks. The only negative I have is that the towels are very thin & grey, but honestly at the price point It's no big deal.
