Prince quality this is ons of the best luxury hotels in Bhutan. Nice traditional architecture and impressive lobby. Beautiful rooms and peaceful setting bit out of town.  Well recommended to finish your Bhutan trip. Was there with MyHimalaya.be a Belgian Bhutan specialist

No wonder “National Geographic” has awarded this hotel one of the very few “unique stays” in the world.

The hotel lies on a beautiful property (with a distant view of the mystical“Tiger’s Nest”); everything about the hotel is beautiful: from the elegant Bhutanese style main building to the tea house, spa/gym, and various gardens including the archery field 

The food and wines were delicious.

The rooms are fantastic- spacious, modern with a Bhutanese touch, a comfortable balcony, and all the facilities of a 5 star hotel.

It was a shame that the swimming pool wasn’t finished. One opportunity for improvement is the gym equipment- it’s there but not that good. Need better treadmill and elliptical, as well as a bench for dumbbells. 



This is a very beautiful hotel and a perfect location to visit the famous Tigers Nest , very spacious rooms with all luxury and the first place in Bhutan with an excellent kitchen

It’s a lovely place and we had a great time here! The resort is beautifully made and the look is so authentic and beautiful. The rooms and very comfortable and cosy. We liked the food..although they don’t have a lot of options. Staff was really nice and all in all we loved our stay! 

This hotel and grounds summarizes Bhutan- calm, beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.
The rooms are spread across several bungalows. Each room is large with beds, seating area, and desk area. The bathrooms are large and have plenty of fresh towels.
There is a turn down service too. The restaurant has a comprehensive menu and excellent selection at breakfast. A nice spa for massages/facials is available
The hotel is in a special isolated grounds, so you need a short 5 minute drive to downtown Paro.

Sure, you could go to the other swanky 5 star international properties dotted around the country but would you when you can stay here? The property itself is a treat for the senses and any photo you see of it online just does not do it justice. The riot of colours and the intricate hand-carved beams are amazing.

Our room was not in the main building, but in the smaller low-rise buildings behind the main property. It was so incredibly spacious that we thought we were upgraded to a suite! Very tastefully decorated with blonde wood throughout and stone flooring in the bathrooms. Heating is provided via the floor which is a nice touch - very relaxing after a long day of being on your feet. Just keep in mind that it takes 24hrs for the temperature to change. So don't expect instant results after fiddling with the temp gauge. We opened our windows to accommodate this. Just to note that the floodboards creak. They creak everywhere in the property but I think it's part of the charms - the wood was re-purposed from an old monastery. If creaking floorboards bother you, opt for rooms on the top floor.

Bathroom is well appointed with all your basic 5* amenities. My only complaint is that the toilet and bathroom are together, along with the mini bar and cupboards. It's just one long room. Can be a tad awkward in the mornings.

Meals are a good blend of Western, Bhutanese and Indian. We opted for Bhutanese each time and were never disappointed. Good selection of drinks at the bar, catering to most tastes. They even had the local Ara.

Service was excellent - friendly and efficient. We had an early morning flight so they packed us some fresh fruit, a basic cucumber sandwich with some juice, apologizing profusely that they couldn't offer us a hot beverage (we honestly were just happy with our packed food!)

Had the most delightful stay! And would highly recommend it!

Everything is perfect about this place except the placement of the wc near the coffe tray n minibar.

Mesmerizing view..fantastic hotel to stay..great staff. 
If you like nature you would find trees of plum, peach Apple.  We had 3 rooms one on ground floor and other on 1st. Veiws from the room were awesome.  One side we had a view of mountains and river and other aide orchid.

Food was expenisve at restaurant but inroom dining was fine.also we found an Indian dhaba outside the hotel which served delicious Indian food.

If possible will come back again.

We loved this hotel.  The rooms were magnificent.  So tastefully decorated - spacious, luxurious and comfortable.  The food in this hotel is exceptional.  We are vegetarian and they catered for our needs.  We would defintely stay here agian.

An outstanding hotel set in a lovely garden and done in traditional Bhutanese style.
The lobby and its wood carving is a sight to behold.
The two restos and the Mad Monk bar serves delicious cuisine and drinks.
The satff is helpful,courteous and will go beyond to make your stay memorable.
The spa is strongly recommended,specially after the Tiger's Nest hike but needs to be pre booked.
You can also try traditional Archery in the hotel ground.
Will soon have a heated pool and a sauna/steam.
A true bliss!

The highlight of our stay, unique and genuine 

crystal clear mornings around minus 2 Celsius and sunny days of around 15 degrees Celsius were enjoyed over 2 nights. These rooms are a little rustic and yet warm and cosy and with a stunning view as they are set high above Paro. I recommend this hotel as its well located to the Airport and Tigers Nest.
