Zensa Lodge

This place is set between the  mountains. Quiet and tranquil. Chickens running around . Long clean pool, grass suroundings. A nice break away from the city. breakfast quite nice. staff very friendly. They have a sauna and Jacuzzi. 

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the lodge.  We decided to stay in Scarborough to be close to the beach and take short day trips to Cape of Good Hope, Boulder's Beach, and Simon's Town.  They were easy day trips (did all 3 in one day) and Zensa Lodge was an excellent home base.  We LOVED the hospitality of Hein, Cryille and Tina and we really enjoyed our morning breakfasts and conversations.  What attracted me to Zensa Lodge was the peaceful atmostphere and modern touches of african ambiance and style, and our stay upheld my expectations and more.  

What a wonderful experience this was.  The lodge was simply marvelous with a very quiet and calm feel to get some much needed relaxation done.  The host, Tina, was incredible: friendly, warm, kind and always helpful.  The lodge is perfectly situated just a stones throw from the beach and around the corner from some restaurants in Scarberough.
From the lodge it is so quick and easy to get access to Cape Point, Houtbay, Simonstown, Noordhoek and the entire southern tip of Cape Town is your back yard.
I would highly recommend anyone to make a trip here for nothing less than 2 nights as the charm, peacefulness and amazing breakfast will make you wish you were sending much more time here!

My husband & I spent the past weekend at Zensa Lodge, Rooms were lovely & clean, Very relaxing & air is crisp and so fresh,  Beautiful garden & surroundings, Breakfast was divine & we were treated with a delicious 3 course meal & bottle of Red wine on the Saturday night...if you want a place to go to just chill & be so close to the sea then this is the place to be..Privileged to hear Hein and another guest from USA play music for us on the Saturday evening...Staff are very friendly and Tina, the Lodge manageress is friendly & very accommodating...you feel like you are at home but at the same time, dont want to leave...Thank you for a lovely and stunning weekend...cant wait to go back...

We only stayed for one night but will be back. Tina, our host gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Zensa is so peaceful and a short walk to the beautiful beach. Breakfast in the dining area next to the wood burning stove was a real treat. Our room was simple but clean and had everything we could possibly need.
