Zen House

The hostel is just 7 minutes walk from a bus or a tram stop. Extra 15-20 minutes by transport and you are in the city center. Trams and buses run regularly and often. It is situated in a quiet residential district. The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes walk from your place. Our room was spacious, with minimum of furniture, but quite clean and cozy. It really corresponds with the name of the hostel and “mode simplicity” is the best characteristic for it. There were 3 more rooms on the floor, and one toilet and one bathroom. There were no problems with hot water. At the same time I would appreciate if there were facilities for towels drying. On the first floor there was a common kitchen, were you can store, prepare and eat your food. There were all necessary stuff for it. Personnel is English-speaking, friendly and responsive, but have its working hours only from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m., so you should bear it in mind, when you may need something. An entrance to the hostel is by code, which you get on your e-mail after booking, so you can check-in by yourself out of working hours if you agree it with your landlords beforehand. As a whole I have pleasant impressions from this hostel and I can recommend it as a place to stay for budget trip.
