I stayed at Zanji Lodge for day. I'm never coming back and would not recommend.! 
The room was not clean. The beddings were dirty covered with a duvet inner without a cover.
Dinner was served cold as it was prepared beforehand and the microwave was not working.
There was no hot water in the shower.
The place is noisy!

Very poor breakfast (1 plate per room), no running water, staff indifferent or not very competent. Place is well located, room price can be negotiated if in group, pretty cheap. Don't really recommend but it's okay for one night stay.

Good location, poor hotel but cheap

I am a regular visitor to Ndola and one of my favorite stops is Zanji Lodge on Tuta Street, Ndola Town Centre. It is situated off Independence Avenue. I have not tried the rooms, but their cocktail bar is very lively and ideal for watching major soccer matches. Swing through and Laz the ever loyal barman, and side kick Fena will be ready to welcome you. The range of drinks available is reasonable. Try it out!

NEVER COMING BACK!!! I will never stay at this lodge again, the rooms are filthy, the walls in the room I stayed (room 15) have mold and has a bad smell, the ventilation is very bad. Apart from that, the water does not drain from the shower, the bathroom is almost flooding when taking a shower. The internet is also extremely slow, I couldn't send emails.

Very bad hotel

The receptionist was uninterested and passive in attending to us. The room had cobwebs, the fridge was dirty & rusty inside. The bathroom was equally dirty with the toilet even smelling of urine. The sink and bathtub easily got blocked when water was running. Health inspectors should check it out and force the lodge owners to make improvements, their focus seems to be the bar and not the lodge. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there unless stranded like we were. Thankfully it was for one night. I have stayed in rooms in the K350 to K450 range with better standards and even in other towns. This room was K450 (almost half a million) but the quality was more like a K200 room.

Health inspectors should shut down the place until it's improved upon.

Plus Points:
1. Centrally located and market and business places are close by, walk-able distance. Its Safe as well.
2. One of the happening place in Ndola, Bar being its center of attraction
3. Since not many options in Ndola for Lodging, its the most preferred in the town.
4. Helpful and friendly staff and try doing their best for the guest.
5. Good walk area inside and nearby for early morning jogs and evening/night walk. 

Negative:
1. Poor management.
2. Not a very good place to stay with family as Lots of floating crowd in the weekends
3. Not so great rooms and facilities don't work at times.
