36 reviewsWe stayed in two resorts in Koh Lanta on our first visit to Koh Lanta ( southern & northern ends of the island ) before staying here in Zam Zams. In our opinion: when it comes to a stay in Koh Lanta price doesn't exactly equal value for money. We paid a lot more in the resorts and didn't get anywhere near the customer service, privacy and good location as we enjoyed here. Location is ideal for a stay - close to the beach and near the more lively bars you will find on any other beach along the coast. True the beach is rocky at low tide but high tide perfect for swimming with two sections of the beach nice for dipping all day. Breakfast across the road can be found for as little as €2.50, lunch and dinner in cloud 9, three sisters are great quality and reasonably priced €3.50 to €6 a few minutes walk away. Nice quiet location with very nice rooms cleaned daily. Laundry available and good WiFi in the rooms that isn’t provided in some resorts. Transfers, scooter rental and tours all provided at hotel and not overcharged which is refreshing. TV in the room has the premiership football games on at the weekend which is a plus for me as the they can be on late with the time difference. Nenagh & Pinn the owners are very warm hearted people that are both welcoming and hospitable. If you are looking for all of the above and not interested in just being another number in a larger resort this is a great place to setup base camp for your stay. Intended on a couple of days and stayed for close to ten days. If you want to be left alone or a friendly chat you’ll find both. Highly recommend and we will more than likely return if we head back to the island.
