Worst hostel that I’ve ever been to. Awful cleanness, terrible location, and hospital vibe. Rooms smelt of odour and kitchen was dirty. You’ll also have to pay for a tram to get into the city centre. The hostel itself looked like it was a converted rundown hospital.

This hostel at first glance seems basic and for an overnight stay and at the price listed it wouldn’t appear too bad.

But the cleanliness of this hostel is simply poor to say the least. A toilet remained blocked with a faeces for more than two days and to our knowledge has not even been attended to.
Secondly the kitchen - dirty. The tea towel used was yellow and carried its own odour. We resorted to using tissues.
The staff smoke inside the building so when walking up to the hostel you just breathe in smoke. Cigarette butts are left in cups outside the entrance of the reception and the floor below also.
The only benefit is the washing machine free usage but I’d suggest spending a couple more pounds a night, and going elsewhere.

Avoid - if possible

The hostel is on the fourth floor (some rooms, like mine, are on the fifth), and the elevator is broken. No lights on the stairs at night either. 

The smell of cigarette is everywhere, which is not surprising considering the staff smoke just outside the door for the complex, but still inside a building! 

When reserving, I was told my room would have ac, and that I would receive towels for my stay. However, none of the rooms have ac, and the towels I was offered are about the size you use for a newborn child. 

Also, only method of payment is cash, and don’t expect them to have change. 

All in all, terrible place. It looks like a mental hospital. Please spend a little more and find yourself a decent hotel.

Worst place I have ever EVER stayed in

Simple and nice hostel. Clean rooms. WiFi works fine. Good community area with billard and TV. But, the rooms don't have door keys, it is open all day all night. No A-C, 30+ degrees on the room. Little too far from the centre. Funny signs in the toilettes:)

Nice hostel

The location is okay, the staff very friendly, the position a little bit far but well connected with tram 11 and 12 to the center. It is maybe not the best solution if you are planning a party trip cause in the evening you need to come back with night bus and they do not pass often - but if you are in Zagreb just to visit the city this is a good solution. 
In my opinion it could be a little bit cheapper.

It's okay - very kind staff

The hostel is on the 3rd floor the building has a lift which is handy! The staff are without a doubt the nicest most welcoming and assisting staff. If you have a question they are happy to help, give advise on good places to eat and places to see and generally help you with anything. The rooms are really big and the mattresses are VERY comfortable which is a warm welcome. It is about 10-15min tram ride from the city centre and the trams come regularly, I like the area with cheap good eating places I recommend the sandwich bar it is at the entrance of the local market place and is about 10 min walk. The hostel is very clean the only downer is there is no holder for the shower head but you can deal with that. There is a large common room which is great and a kitchen.

Great Hostel - Incredible Staff!

My partner and I stayed here on our last night in Croatia on our way to the airport. It is very nice and clean and very spacious. However, it is a bit far from the center and the road is very noisy at night. Otherwise, it is a very nice hostel.
