Disclaimer: I have stayed at many HOSTELS around the world so my tolerance is a lot higher than an average traveler. This review is given my last minute booking during canton fair where all other hotels had quadrupled their prices and this hotel was still reasonable. Pros: Lots of Mobikes around. If you don’t have the app yet, download it. You can pay via Visa / MasterCard. There are a few grocery stores on the street next to hotel. Good for buying water and other basic things. WiFi was surprisingly fast. I’m talking about 25+ Mbs for upload and download. Bus shuttle is right outside the hotel door. Bus shuttles 137 and 267 will take you to canton fair. It costs 2 RMB and you should have the money in cash. It takes 5-10 mins to get to Canton from this hotel with bus. Bed sheets were clean. Air con worked great. Cons: Recommend turning off the bathroom fan when not in use. Bathroom smells pretty weird. The street next to the hotel smells like a cow farm, although you don’t smell it from the room itself. Room furniture is damaged. My curtain was actually torn on a few places. View from the room was basically overlooking a junkyard. Overall, for my purpose, it was a great deal. Would I stay here again? Its possible. Its very convenient for Canton fair.
