The House Apart

For it’s location, if you are familiar with the Galatea area…it’s an excellent place , very fresh, very modern , and the staff is excellent, I highly recommend it.

Every time I visit Istanbul, World House Apartments is my #1 choice, they give you epic rooms around the area and if you're lucky you get to stay next to the Galata Tower... also they have rooms where you can see the whole Bosphorus.

The staff are super friendly and they help you whenever you need assistance.

Good quick breakfast in the morning and you get to meet other interesting travelers.

When I went to check in at the World House hostel I was told they had no vacancies in the hostel, but a room available in their sister apartment block across the square directly outside Galata Tower! If you are looking for a tidy, fuss free secret apartment in the very heart of Galata - you cannot beat this place! With a funny little, creaky entrance, tall ceilings and a shared kitchenette and bathroom (shared with only one or two guests), the apartment is a great little alternative stay. As someone who appreciates her own space to wind down amidst the constant travel flow, I highly recommend this option for couples or the solo traveller who similarly feel like a break from the regular hostel trail. Feel like a local, in your own little space. Great bed, and happily took advantage of the free breakfast on offer at the main hostel across the road. Hotel privacy at a hostel price, great value for money!

Sleep just next to the Galata tower in Istanbul! The apartment-building is a branch of the excellent World House hostel. The room we had was spacious and offered a great view. Shared facilities are clean and the breakfast at the hostel (just around the corner) is delicious!

Perfect location right next to the Galata Tower! Location of doorway quite adorable hidden partly behind a clothing stall! However the walls are thin and metal frame beds are very loud and squeaky, anytime myself or my husband moved we would wake each other up! And we could hear the neighbouring rooms bed squeak loudly as well, woke up to their loud morning activities... However for the price I think this place is fantastic value. Basic breakfast included in the nearby hostel too
