Wildwin Resort - Hostel

I visited 13 countries in Africa. The food was mostly not the reason I got there. 

But this time it is a reason to come back for!

Amazing Place to Enjoy with your family. Peaceful place, Natural place. Must have to visit. Staff is very friendly and owner also have professional experience to make good continental food. The rooms as well nearby lake environment is very peaceful. As well they have very big place for events and parties at lake side. Tents and bonfire is also there. So, totaly stress free service from staff. Must visit with your family and friends.

Wildwin is the best place to have fun with friends and families. I mean the place is neat and kept, their services was intact, their food was superb - real African dishes and continental dishes, it was mouth watering. Their servers were also funny with their mixed English and local dilect. Tho their road was a bit challenging....because of the rains since its un-tiled. Aside that, its lovely to spend time there.

We had a wonderful time at Wildwin this July. The service and the view was amazing Pat really took care of us. I think I have made a new friend. We enjoyed the oranges on the compound and can't wait to go back. Awesome place.

Our stay was excellent. Food was always served on time for my family of 5.The place is clean and the staffs are very friendly. Madam Patricia is so friendly and really made me, my wife and 3 kids felt at home

I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend it to anyone on any day. Very friendly staff who always greet you with a smile and the food is on point. Words can't describe Aunty  Patricia such a lovely host you are. God bless you so much

Awesome place with great service and friendly atmosphere! Auntie and Manny were great! The place is beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Their lakeside is beautiful and managed well. Lake Inn, next door, don't go. You wont free at all. STAY AT WILDWIN. Its where it's at!

Wildwin resort is a great place to stay.  The owner of the place Patricia takes care of the guests personally to make them comfortable.   The property is well maintained and is just on the lake.   Huge enough for the kids to play around.   Couple of issues will be erratic electricity and weak water supply.   While they have a generator, still you need to keep that in mind.  The place is hot due to surrounding mountains and humid due to water in the lake, so be prepared to manage the heat.  Good food available.

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay. Environment is serene and peaceful. Excellent meals and a good place to rejuvenate after long periods of stress.

I enjoyed my stay at this resort. Food was amazing, friendly staff,the environment is very serene; a great place to reconnect with nature & reset.Auntie Pat is such a beautiful soul. Will visit again.

nyc place for a weekend get away..customer service is great, food is better..I look forward to staying there again.. Hope something is done about the transportation asap..water and electricity supply could also be boosted.. in all..its a great place..

Pleasant Stay

I spent a couple of days at Wildwin in January. The journey there was more than a little bumpy at times, but it was more than worth it.The setting is truly stunning and worth a visit. When I was planning my trip I bought a mosquito net especially for Wildwin as I thought it was going to be a complete mozzie fest. I being one whose blood mozzies gorge on, do solemnly declare that there are NO MOZZIES at Wildwin. It was bliss to be able to sit outside into the evening in shorts without slathering myself in repellent! Unfortunately at the time I went there wasn't a completely clear view across the whole lake because it was a bit misty, but it didn't diminish the beauty of the place. The accommocation is fine, it was clean and the resort staff were attentive, I think they were young people from the surrounding villages, so not only is Patricia (the owner) providing a peaceful haven for visitors, but employment opportunities. 
It was a real pleasure to meet Patricia and chat with her about how Wildwin came about; a really inspiring story. It's clear that she's passionate about Ghana and cares about the community 
around the resort. The food was great, really enjoyed my  pancakes at breakfast! I went during the week when it generally less busy, so I got to appreciate how truly peaceful it is up there. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Wildwin.
