White Pine Cottages on Lake St. Peter

Great experience at this campground! Loved the pine trees and all the sand. Great site for our fifth wheel nestled amongst the tall pine trees. 

Lots of things for kids to do and play with. Lots of organized activities for them as well!

These cabins are amazing and the place is like a little slice of heaven.  Quiet lake, lots of water toys to enjoy, cabins very clean and well maintained with everything you need kitchen wise, etc. I have been a few times and the newer owners are simply amazing and have improved the property so much, and are a joy to deal with and very helpful.  Worth every penny to have the lake at your front door, great fire pit (when fire ban not in effect), gazebos to enjoy the outdoors when it is raining.  Cannot say enough about how it is truly a sanctuary of the north, close to Maynooth/Bancroft/Whitney and Algonquin Park.  Great beach for families also.

Stayed there on two occasions to go snowmobiling. Once with my buddies , once with my 14 yr old son . Cottages are super cozy and well supplied. Trail access is right there and all snowmobile related amenities are close by. The hosts couldn’t be more gracious and willing to accommodate . They offer a sauna and have a community room to hang out in with board games , a bar, big screen TV with lots of seating , truly a great concept. Would highly recommend as snowmobile destination 

This couple is awesome. Highly recommend this place. Cottages are spotless, owners are great. Had so much fun. Second time there and going again. Lance and svitlana are amazing. Four wheeling trails, swimming, fishing you name it.

We were at White Pine Cottages June 13 and 14 2021. 
We just needed a little get away and this was the place to do it. Lance and Svetlana were fantastic! When we arrived we were greeted by Svetlana and Mishka their dog! I realized when we got there I had forgotten to bring coffee and she offered us some from their own home!
We had everything we needed for a little get away with our 9 and 13 year Olds. The price was perfect and even included paddle boat, paddle boards, canoes and kayaks! Also, satellite TV!
We will definitely be back next year. Maybe for a full wee this time! 
I can not say enough about this place and the hospitality of the owners!

White Pine Cottages is the perfect place to relax with family with enough activities to keep everyone happy. Highly recommend this place and the views are fantastic. Algonquin Park is a short drive away too. 

There's lots to do at White Pines, like canoeing or kayaking, or there's a cool communal fire pit, but the best activity offered is relaxation. Simply sit by the lake watch the moon over the lake or watch the sunset come up over the hills.  It gets eerily quiet, except for the loons, but there is nothing like it in the city.  A week at White Pines will have you ready to face your fast paced lifestyle for another while, if you can be persuaded to leave.  By the way don't expect consierge service or a posh check in, we were there for over 24 hours before I met the guy that ran the place.  Great people, great place and definitely something you should experience.

Have just spent a couple of nights in a cabin at White Pine Cottages.

Lovely and rustic, warm and cosy. With a view across the frozen lake, it was an amazing place to stay. 

The owner, Chris, was very pleasant and made myself and my daughter very welcome. It was -27 outside on our first night and you wouldn't have know it inside the cabin.

We had booked this accommodation as we had a days' snowmobiling booked with Highland Wilderness Tours in Maynooth. Little did we know when we booked the tour that we would be snowmobiling across the lake in front of where we were staying.....amazing.

If you are planning a stay in the area, you can't go far wrong with a cabin at White Pine Cottages. I definitely want to go back

We went up for the week. This place is awesome.  Chris, Kim, their boys and Hershey were all helpful welcoming and made sure our stay was perfect. The cabin we stayed in was 20 feet from a dock and a sand covered beach. A trampoline, canoes, paddle boats, kayaks and paddle boards were all provided. Wifi and satellite TV for late night or during the few hrs of rain we got. The bbq was all set up and ready to go.  Algonquin park is 20 mins up the road (so is Tim Hortons). Everything you need is here. We enjoyed the fire for a few nights (fire ban kicked in). It's super clean and the lake was great for swimming all day long. We've already booked for next year.  

My daughter and I have stayed at White Pines Cottages for three nights (late October 2015) while hiking in Algonquin. Conveniently the resort is within short drive (25 minutes) to Algonquin's East Gate. The cottages are facing lake St Peter with sandy stretch along the shoreline. The resort is very well kept, clean and well organized, has a lovely fire pit, cottages spaced apart to allow privacy. Each cottage has own BBQ (clean and working), nice wooden deck, enough parking space. Inside the cottage : everything what is needed is there : clean, of decent king, functional. The owners were helpful, knowledgeable about the area, but also discreet, so we could really enjoy the benefits of the "end of the season" and tranquility of it. We will definitely come back next year. The White Pine Cottages are permanently on our list of places worth visiting.
